The flag of Egypt consists of three equal horizontal stripes that are, from top to bottom, red, white, and black. The flag has the Egypt's national emblem, the Eagle of Saladin, centered in the white band. It is also called the Coat of arms of Egypt. It is a golden eagle looking towards the viewer's left.
